{"id":514,"date":"2021-12-14T15:09:30","date_gmt":"2021-12-14T15:09:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/oqtacore-blog-473533498.us-east-1.elb.amazonaws.com\/?p=514"},"modified":"2022-11-23T11:54:05","modified_gmt":"2022-11-23T11:54:05","slug":"machine-learning-for-taxi-business","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/oqtacore.com\/blog\/machine-learning-for-taxi-business\/","title":{"rendered":"Machine learning for Taxi Business"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We did machine learing for Taxi Business. an analysis for a taxi agency based on their daily numbers, and found that one of the most important factors is how their customers are satisfied &#8211; the higher satisfaction.<\/p>\n<h2>How we did Machine Learning for Taxi Business<\/h2>\n<p>The owners of the taxi business already had a system of collecting key metrics:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Number of customer complaints in each city<\/li>\n<li>Number of SMS orders in each city<\/li>\n<li>Number of vehicles working in each city<\/li>\n<li>Number of broken vehicles in each city<\/li>\n<li>Number of new drivers in each city<\/li>\n<li>Number of fired drivers in each city<\/li>\n<li>Number of cancelled orders in each city<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our task was to use these numbers and present an analysis of the data with some simple conclusions.<\/p>\n<p>We decided to use <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Random_forest#:~:text=Random%20forests%20or%20random%20decision,decision%20trees%20at%20training%20time.&amp;text=Random%20forests%20generally%20outperform%20decision,lower%20than%20gradient%20boosted%20trees.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Random Forest<\/a> algorithm for machine learning for Taxi business.
